Waiting for the hatch

Waiting for the hatch

You know, all this web 2.0 wonder that many talk about can overshadow other forms of wonder - and surprise, and simple, silly joy.

Yesterday one of my third graders (on Spring Break) blogged The Easter Egg from home.

You just never know what might happen. Kind of a Peter Pan way of looking at things that I'm grateful for having put in front of me day after day. Thanks, Lindsay. Happy Easter!

Your post is inspiring to me as well. Perhaps one day my students might start using their blogs outside of school. However, my informal poll showed that only about 5% of my students have internet at home. I suppose it's the demographic.

Thank you for sharing. It excites me!

As my Gabby says,"Too Cute!".

Can you believe I'm in Chicago?
Very exciting, AERA conference...but of course I'm into the people watching, big buildings, lights, it seems so monolithic.
